Improve Communications: Annual Reports

Just released: "Talking to Ourselves? A Critical Look At Annual Reports in Foundation Communications" and a companion website, WhyAnnualReports.org. 

A co-production of the Philanthropy Awareness Initiative, the Williams Group, and the Communications Network, the report grew out of a 2008 Communications Network conference session that explored the value of foundation annual reports.

The report and website are meant to get that conversation going again about annual reports: why we do them and whether they do any good.  Or is there a better way for foundations to communicate about their work?
